Hi all
I have a font that I'm trying to create a TrueType version to use as a web font.
I have an idea of how to TrueType hint the font but I don't have the time or money to do so - the font will be largely for person use.
The font is hinted with Post Script hints, which I am very pleased with. I wanted to us FL to convert these PS hints to TT hints and then adjust any unresolved problems by hand.
From the PS hinted font I've ran this Action set:
- Curves to TrueType
- Contour Direction [TT]
- Convert to Instructions
On the whole I am pleased with the results apart from the alignment of the tops of the glyphs at certain weights.
Here is the uppercase at 15ppm's with PS outlines.

I have imported the Type 1 alignment zones to the TT zones but they don't seem to have any effect on the alignment. If I have zones or not there is no change.
Is there anything I can do to improve or just change the top alignment of the glyphs or is it a question of hand hinting the whole thing ?
