Readable?

David Berlow

Petr showed me this, which I find hysterically unreadable, though it's less readable when it's magnified;)

Broken link.

There was a break tag in the URL. Here's the real URL:

ugf it's horrid. I do appreciate that devices need to be accommodated for, but this is an extreme level I for one ain't going to. Interesting post!

I can't read it either.

Last line: "Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People of large for their exercise;"
laptop IBM T41, 1400x1050, winXT, magnifying glass, uncomfortably...

A shorter column width at least would help. I can read the letters but can't keep track of which line I'm on.

Agreed… ouch. (The justified setting doesn't help either.)

BTW, this one is even smaller, and (to me) entirely illegible:

Lol, Nina, when an article starts out saying, "this is crazy and pointless..." I'll gladly stop reading immediately ;)

Why do people suppose other people suppose the smallest possible bit map font is interesting to anyone? I mean tiny text is useless for any non-legal application if not beyond legible and into readable, ain't it?

The only imaginable motive I can come up with is some ingrained Fabrege complex.

I can read it. One more vertical pixel should be sacrificed for descenders and commas. Descenders touching the following line is better than no descenders at all.

The 'g' seems to be the most troublesome.
