Choosing a horse for a typeface designer?

James Montalbano

I'm not really interested, but given these recent threads, I thought the question should be asked.

If he persists in making 70s fonts, maybe a breed that has very
short legs and likes to be really really close to its stable-mates.

James — C’mon, you should know better: all the equiphiles here are going to need some context.

What kind of riding are you going to do: Trail or Arena? Western, Hunter, Dressage? How often are you going to ride? Do you have your own tack already? If so, what kind? How much acreage do you have, or are you going to be boarding this horse elsewhere? Is anyone else going to be riding this horse also?

And do you need that translated into Japanese? ;-)

is this horse for transportation, or to be kept as a pet?

I had the same question, and if someone could hook me up with a place I could get the horse for free that would be sweet!

I never met a horse I didn’t like.

:o) eliason.

Free horses! Where?
I need the cheapest meat available to serve to my discerning clients.

Steer clear of skewbalds. They're just a cheap unlicensed knock-off of piebalds.

Maybe you should get them a Mustang if you like your type on the wild side :-)

Stop being cheap and hire a horse breeder.

Horses are lovely animals and we all love them. Horses should be free. go to www.freecamels.com for free horses

Thanks for a good laugh guys, I needed that after all Joe's threads lately ;)

I think this thread would've gotten a much more interesting response had the question been "Choosing a typeface design for a horse?"

Oh you think so?

So why not start it and see what you get!

Go on... do it!

@terminadesign

Was that a challenge, or a sarcastic retort? :D

nevermind

.

That is a beauty, David!

@Dezcom

I am fully aware of that, but I think it'd be better to keep it in one thread.
