CalArts logo wide sans

JB01

Any Ideas? Do you know of something close? Many Thanks

(Bump) I don’t know this one offhand, but this seems like something we should be able to ID.

Zeppelin 41 Bold would be easy to make into this, with the addition of a few serifs.

After trying to match this to every font categorized as ’wide’at MyFonts, I think I will stick with my previous answer. The only thing significant (to my eye) that distinguishes this sample from Zeppelin 41 Bold is the extra serifs on some of the letters of the sample.

Just to show, that this kind of fonts are existing:
Elementar
Norddeutsche Schriftgießerei GmbH, Berlin
Erstguß 1927
Hausschnitt

Georg

ah... and sorry for the bad quality of example.

Georg

Georg, that typeface has similarities, but it does not match the sample in many details. Nice to hear from you again, as always. Most likely the original of the sample was done digitally, I would suppose.

Knowing CalArts, this is possibly student or teacher work.

It is alumni work. Part of a larger identity system that hasonly partially seen the light of day:
