Adobe Kuler

Gus Winterbottom

Adobe’s color theme sharing application — anybody tried it? Is it really useful to professional graphics designers, or is it just another twee “Web 2.0” social thingy, given that it’s basically the Live Color functionality from Illustrator CS3?

It’s great for generating palettes, and really useful for web colors, but the CMYK builds it generates bear no similarity to screen. They aren’t just a little off, they’re just plain wrong.

Take a look at Colorjack; it’s been around a little longer and has a better interface.
