Looking for a Sans Serif like "DB Sans"

BlueEyedPeas

Hi everybody, I'm looking for a solution on a branding project for a startup company that is about to introduce a newly invented medical device. In search for an appropriate sans serif I came across Spiekermann's "DB Sans" which would be perfect in my opinion but is unfortunately unavailable for purchasing, I've looked at FF Unit, Vista Sans, and vesta.

Additional suggestions anybody?
thanks..... in advance...

Here's a link to the DB Sans typefaces, for reference.

Is it the headline or the text version you are more interested in?

Text
Arrival, Lucida Sans, Griffith Gothic, Fresco Sans

Head
Klavika, FF Info, Corpid, FF Transit

Sam,

Stalemate or evn Sophisto might do the trick... see it yourself

Some letters remind me of Polo, recently discussed here:

Stephen, I'm looking for both, headline & text alike.

Thank you all for the suggestions, I'm still reviewing all of them carefully, somehow I'm still hooked on DB Sans (perhaps because I can't have it...)

I've been looking at the examples here that sans is just amazing!

I'm leaning towards FF Info so far, this design needs to come across as professional & warm alike, so please post your suggestions or comments if I'm on the right track here, thanks again.

I think your initial instinct was best. Don't think you'll get much closer than Spiekermann's FF Unit. You might also dig Amplitude. and FF Fago.
