(x) Old style typeface from a book cover - New Clear Era {Fabio Augusto}

tomii

I’m going nuts trying to figure out this typeface from the title of History Lesson for Girls.

Could it be just customised Plantin Schoolbook, Bembo Schoolbook or even Musee (DStype)?

EDIT: Image deleted due replication. (See below :)

Darn, it’s a little bit too small to make it out clearly... :^/

Found a bigger one. :)

Has someone been tweaking Bembo Schoolbook?

The f, y and G are forced ... Oh! Oops the y is that way in the typeface. :^D My bad.

I think the terminal in ’y’ is too sharp and hook of ’f’ is too short to be Bembo or Plantin..? Also the G could be swash cap

The sample is very small, but look the use of various “mix variants” from the typeface New Clear Era, designed by Bob Aufuldish.

Seems like we have a winner.. thanks!!
