(x) Big and bold serif on E4 website - custom face by Fontsmith {Erik S}

Hi all,

Just wondering what this font is in the main flash banner on the site (not the pop up), it has the text - STOP.... treating me like a kid, on the first ad:

http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/E/e4/index.html?hpos=E4

Also wondering if anyone can recommend any similar fonts?

Check out Jason's site:

It's the custom face for Channel 4 in the UK.

Does anyone know if there are any similar fonts for sales, I like the way it is big and bold, yet a serif.

Thanks.

It has a nice heavey weight as you've showng, but it isn't a serif, however it has serif-like tendencies in some of the details: Costa PTF
