Kudos to Kris Sowersby

Chris Lozos

Our own frequenter of Typohile and brilliant young type designer from New Zealand, Kris Sowersby, KLIM (is milk spelled backwards:-)) is the newest member of Village and his Feijoa type is soon to be released.
I have seen and admired his work here in the critique area and now it is finally out on the market! BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!!!

Great work Kris and the best of luck to you!

Congrats, Kris. Hope we’ll see Sevilo in the vllg soon.

I wish the Karv family was at VLLG too. And according to the designer- Eliza, another wonderful face- will most likely not be coming to the market... I hope he changes his mind.

Congrats, Kris!

Congrats - welcome to the the only village I’ve ever heard of that doesn’t have a single idiot.

Well done Kris. I am glad to see we can now start to get hold of some of these great faces which we have only been able to admire on your site(s) up until now. As a fellow kiwi and someone who studied with Kris not so long ago it is fantastic to see a new NZ type designer (and one I have had the pleasure of knowing) breaking into the international market. Keep going mate, I look forward to owning some of your faces in the not too distant future.

Really nice work. Me like it :-)
Well deserved!! Congrats and best of luck.

Congrats, it’s great to see a NZ designer up there with the rest. I look forward to using some of your faces in future jobs. :^)

Well then, isn’t this a surprise! Thanks a lot for all your support. Hopefully I’ll actually finish a few before the year is out…

excellent news and well-deserved. congrats, kris.

Yes, very nice work. =) Congrats.

I don’t heap very high praise lightly, and I don’t want to embarrass Kris, but over the past few months I’ve come to realize that he’s probably the most promising type designer on the planet.

Yes all is well, hopefully more of us New Zealanders can follow in your footsteps.

Adding to the pile, Kris, your type is superb. Best of luck!
