What's "writing"?

hhp

Everyone is a writer these days, especially those who expound at length in these threads!
I suspect Jean means non-typographers/designers who make a living producing text content, or are serious amateurs/prosumers/semi-professionals.

Well, I write articles (and have done one translation worth mentioning*) and I see some strong parallels between writing and type design.

I like your screen name, Jean. I'm not a bay area writer, but I used to write to a girl in the bay area. ;)
