I had installed python on my windows 7 machine, namely 2.4.4 and after the splash screen fontlab 5 is saying python is still not installed. What to do?
Can any one help me how to find out if python is installed or not? After installing Python and the opening the macro toolbar, i tried doing an example(mentioned in the fontlab manual). After selecting the middle effects from the middle dropdown, the rightmost dropdown is greyed out and nothing happens. I think python is installed but no effects installed? I am getting an output saying the opened glyph is S and no of fonts open is 1 when i am running the macro.
As far as I remember, you have to install Python and numpy to enable Python in FontLab.
2. NumPy
http://sourceforge.net/projects/numpy/files/NumPy/1.2.1/
download: "numpy-1.2.1-win32-superpack-python2.4.exe"
Run the downloaded file
