I guess from this that MyFonts still doesn't pre-moderate releases to see if they are clearly based on already-existing fonts?

The idea has some merit, but I have Stuart Sandler to keep ME in check…

MyFonts says (or has said) that they rely on us for that (which is much better than relying on nobody). Hence my suggestion back in 2009.
