I am looking for what I believe is a variation of the Papyrus font ... it is bolder and the capital P has a more generous loop ...

Your help will be appreciated.
Thanks, Linda

L., there are probably quite a few fonts that could be considered "variations of Papyrus," unfortunately... could you possibly post a sample of what you're trying to identify?

Thanks so much for such a fast reply :-)

Papyrus has alternate Initials which are larger. Are you sure that is not what you have seen?

See the samples of Papyrus, Ereshkigal and Fidelma on this page of the Script Font ID Guide. Perhaps Ereshkigal (from Scriptorium) is your font?

Thanks so much Mike ... Ereshkigal sure looks like it ...
Much appreciated,

I purchased Ereshkigal but the capital A has a flat top ... not my font :-( Any other suggestions?
Thanks!

Linda, The only other variation of Papyrus-like font is one by Rick Mueller called Parchment. You can find it here. I cannot say for sure if it is the same as what you want, but I recall it was not identical to Papyrus.

Thanks again Mike ... you are very helpful and it is appreciated.

Parchment is it exactly ... every little nuance is there, it's a perfect match. Thank you!

NOTE TO YVES: Please change the final answer to 'Parchment', (Rick W. Mueller's font similar to 'Papyrus'), as the originator (Linda) said it was an exact match for her sample.
