From Lost Type Co-op:

We are building a font at this very moment in San Francisco, and we are live blogging it in real time.

Various members of the Lost Type team (who have worked on our fonts and promotional materials in the past) have flown to San Francisco for a 4 day marathon to create a typeface inspired by the iconic city.

For those too young to remember: Hrant is referring to a 2003 article in U.S. News & World Report in which Matthew Carter said, “Watching me work is like watching a refrigerator make ice.”

It might be interesting to have a capture of everything being done on screen, not riveting but I would be intrigued to see the process or parts of it.
