Gratuitous Type No.2 cover -- early modernist?

Does anyone know what typeface this is, on the cover of a magazine by Elana Schlenker (elanaschlenker.com), as featured on TypeToken. Thanks a lot.

Early Modernist? More like Late Wannabe Vernacular.

Hrant, are you saying that it's a recent, faux-naive typeface?

There's a difference between trying and failing
versus trying to look like you failed... To me this
looks very much like the latter, and people only
fairly recently started doing that (to type).

Gotcha -- do you know of any threads on this topic? (And thanks for the input, by the way.)

You can look for Planeta, Raisonne, LL Brown…

Thanks for those suggestions -- all good.

Anyway, Elana Schlenker had ID'ed it as Monod.

SOLVED

Mine were mainly suggestions about threads, more than tentative IDs.

Worked actually -- I found a useful thread on the subject by googling LL Brown
