Garamond and Gotham

ggalileo

What are your thoughts on using Garamond as display text and Gotham for copy? Are these two typefaces are great pair to use for a modern, yet traditionally established brand design?

Sounds backwards to me. Like pushing a shopping cart all the way to the grocery store, then riding a bike up and down the aisles.

Agree with Craig, makes as much sense as "Robin and Batman" ;-)

Unless it's ITC Garamond, in which case it's more like pushing a shopping
cart all the way to the grocery store, then getting inside the cart and blowing.

Nice :) Thanks guys for the simile. What do you think is a good sans serif, a clean, modern type that will serve as great copy?

That was only half the problem...
Although to be fair if it's not a lot of text you can get away with it.
Try Legato.
