Sans serif, 1920s or 30s, quite popular with designers at the moment

Yes, I know it says Brandon Grotesque.

I'm looking for other fonts that share the characteristics of the period (I think it's 1920s or 30s - correct me if I'm wrong)

Pointy top of the upper case A when bolded
Perfectly round O
Pointy downward-pointing middle bit of the M
Gothic kind of R with the diagonal stick straight and more vertical than angled.
Pointy ends at the top and bottom of the N where the diagonal joins the vertical lines.

Sorry I should know my type anatomical terms.

Thanks for your help :)

You've probably already thought of it, but Futura is the most popular one that comes to mind. Other ones to look at could be Agenda or Century Gothic. You also may like Nobel, but it is not as pointed as the other typefaces.

Others from that era, matching the criteria more or less:

Elegant Grotesque
Kristall Grotesque
Metro
Semplicita
Universal

I would add Richmond and http://Verlag.

Also, there are two big name Nobels. There is DTL Nobel and Font Bureau's Nobel.

And of course, there is the overused Neutraface from House Industries.
