I've got a client who is mad on the Alpha Romeo Giulietta badge font. my closest shots have been Rocket Script and Top Speed… neither being quite right.
Whilst I realise it's most likely that it's a heavily tweaked or entirely custom face, has I'd love to know something that sits really close to it.
Cheers
Allan
It's most certainly custom lettering. I've always considered that style 'streamline' given the era it references, but I now realize that's actually the name of a specific typeface (which is in the ballpark):

So, I'll add to the question for the rest of the typophilers: Does this particular style (mechanical script faces with heavy, emphasized baselines indicative of product nameplates from the streamline/deco period) have a name?
I have seen the style referred to as “connected chrome script”:

But also “streamline”:

Cheers guys
Much appreciated. I was also not sure what to call the font family… nice to know it has a couple of genres to search under.
