Is there any way to span a header/row across two columns in Illustrator.
I know InDesign is best for a project like this, but I don't have InDesign right now, so does any one know if Illustrator has this function?

As far as I know that’s not possible in Illustrator. You have to ‘draw’ a new text box, 2 cols wide.
