skelb

Dear friends,
would you recommend me a condensed serif for headlines?, i was thinking on a slab but any kind of serif would be good

i need a condensed who works well in big sizes it´s for a Northern europe language... you know big words, opentype characters...

all recommendations would be appreciated!

thanks in advance!!

Medium? Content? Audience?

Reynir Heiðberg...

As zeroth approximation (also known as a wild-assed guess), try Cheltenham Condensed. No idea if it suits the mood, but at least you can output some text.

A couple of slabs: Dispatch has condensed and compressed versions. Stag is fairly tight and very stylish.

Try Helvetica Condensed. Sleek Stylish and Simple

Trevor Baum

Trade Gothic Condensed (either No. 18 or No. 20), Titling Gothic.
