Need to find webfont similar to Akzidenz Grotesk CE Roman

FelixWinqvist6 October 2011 · 07:42

Hey guys, I am designing a new wesbite for a jewellery brand and they use Akzidenz Grotesk CE Roman in their identity but when I want to upload it on the web it says that it's not allowed, does anyone have a recommendation on a similar one that I can use online? Also looking for a bold version :)

Here's an example: http://upshizzle.com/pfiles/12366/Akzidenz.jpg

Basic Commercial or FF Bau are similar, or perhaps you can get away with using Arial ;)

What do you mean by "upload it on the web"?

I thought he was talking about uploading to some webfont conversion service.

The two fonts I've linked to come with web licenses and in the necessary formats, no need to convert them first.

Try FF Dagny, too. Comes in WOFF.
