Krimhilde by Albert Augspurg

er1chu

I'm looking for a typespecimen for Krimhilde designed by Albert Augspurg in 1934 for the Ludwig & Mayer foundry. The most characters I have come across so far is this image. Any help would be great. Sorry if this was something that should have belonged in Type ID.

You might get better search results if you spell his name correctly: it's Auspurg, not Augspurg. Bio and one-line samples here...

Well, I don’t really know which one is correct, but in the linked image it’s indeed spelled “Augspurg”.

What linked image? I'm not seeing one...

The words “this image” at the end of the second period are a link to an image.

Thanks for the heads-up. It's on page 128 of Encyclopædia of Type Faces in regular and boldface, but there are only a few more characters displayed than in the posted image.

Proofreaders make mistakes, especially when dealing with proper names. I tend to lend a little more credence to the Klingspor spelling.

If this

would be helpful, I will post/send you a better scan when I'm back at work.
