General information needed on popular fonts from the 1960s and 70s

Dru Handebo

Hi, I just need to know a couple of popular fonts used frequently in the 1960's and 70s, any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Helvetica. Optima. Times Roman.

Goudy Old Style. Perpetua.

Peignot Bold. Dom Casual. Pretorian. Hobo.

Franklin Gothic. News Gothic. Century Schoolbook. Clarendon.

These are some examples of typefaces which were popular in the 1960s and/or the 1970s.

The fonts popular in any era don't necessarily evoke that era, if they were/are also popular in other eras.

If you want a feel for the times, Google Images for "Fillmore West Posters". Most (all?) of this was hand drawn work, but it will give you a feel for the type being used at the time.
