Having trouble identifying this font via What The Font, etc. I thought it may have been Akzidenz-Grotesk, but not positive. The W (where it thins out near the baseline) seems to be unique-- any guesses?

Once you’ve desquooshed the letters, you will be able to see that this is Helvetica Condensed Bold, also sold as Europa Grotesk. The ink traps on the ‘W’ are indeed a dead giveaway that it’s a) Helvetica and b) not Neue Helvetica.

The typeface you are looking for is Harrington, appearing slanted in your sample.
