I am learning about coding Opentype in Fontlab.
I understand that I can create a Glyph class within a feature or separately.
Is there reason for chosing one over the other?

glyph class in feature or not
If you define a class separately, you can re-use that class in other features/lookups. It is also tidier, and easier to review class contents and edit them in the classes panel.
