Runes. Not real ones. Just some kind of "magical glyphs" set.

Amado

Hi there. Has anyone here made a glyph set of fake runes, or know of one? If so, please tell.

I'm not after authentic or authentically-inspired stuff; more of a shortcut to making a design that includes stuff like the picture here. Thanks.

I have a bit set that hitting up the Dingbats section on DaFont and places like that would likely bring in a haul.

Followed your suggestion.

Ow, my eyes.

But, yes. Possibilities there. Thanks.

I wouldn't be averse to more suggestions.

The design makes me think more of alchemical symbols than runes - even "magical symbol" type runes tend to look a lot like the real ones.

IIRC, there are a few, too, on the typOasis, including MKlein's free warez. Some of the stuff there is right odd, even by my standards.

The best thing to do in your case seem to pick some glyphs of a script you don’t know of a culture you don’t estimate, rotate them about 90 or 180 degrees and go on …
