What is your favorite glyph?

I'd love to know what you think.

Please include glyph, type family and subfamily, ie.:

glyph: Ampersand
family: ITC caslon 540
subfamily: Italic

sidenote: this image isn't actually Garamond, right?

No, it's not Garamond, and it's not ITC, either. Just plain Caslon 540 Italic (American Type Founders).

Mine is such a quickly moving target that I would need an Uncertainty Principle to point to it.

Maybe Perrin's numeral 5.

Maiola's "k"

Ditto.
And the thing about a beautiful collection of, not a collection of beautiful…

Granted. But it's still difficult to imagine a type
designer who doesn't derive pleasure from shapes.

Okay, so maybe I'm prejudiced, but I've always had a fond ness for the lowercase g in my Arbuckle Remix NF...

Beat you to it, Kupfers:) Quadraat’s "R".
