text typeface to go with Bryant compressed, any tips?

Evie

Hi everyone,

I'm using Bryant compressed (medium and bold) for my headlines, i'm going to spend some money buying a new font for text that works nicely with Bryant.

Nice would be if i'd get some tips on a sans serif as well as a serif to go with Bryant compressed.

I'd appreciate every tip!

Almost everything can go, as long it's modern.

thnx for the reply...mmmm ok, thing is i got like a 150Euro's to spend for a few weights and there's lots of modern typefaces around, some tips on what would really work perfectly would be sweet :-D

anyone...pretty please :-D

Without any hint about intended usage, subject matter, etc., it would be difficult to give any meaningful suggestion.

hey riccard0, its for an informative free folder/brochure (4-folded) about the history and future of a historical building that went trough lots of changes during the years, at one time it was a school, a bank and now part of the building is used as an exhibition hall.

nobody with any tips, anything?

I'd try to find a serif that contrasts with the roundness of Bryant; try something sharp and readable in the ballpark of Mercury, Farnham, Newzald or even Warnock.

For the sans, maybe something a bit harder like Tungsten, Forza or Breuer?

thank you very much for the reply Bendy!

In fact, thinking about this more, pretty much any serif font is likely to work; Bryant is so quirky that it won't be hard to find a contrasting face. I've even used Bryant with Stag and Minion.
