Greta Text alternative?

Oak

Any suggestions for an alternative to Typotheque's Greta Text?
http://www.typotheque.com/fonts/greta_text/regular/sample

Need a serif font with short ascenders/descenders. Greta is very nice but I simply can't afford it on my freelance budget.

Skolar is kind of similar to Greta.
Milo Serif has short descenders.

Oak

Nice! I like both of their letterforms, especially Milo Serif's high x-height.

Oak, please send us an email about your project and we can see if we can help.
It would be a shame if you'd use something else just because of the price.
