Looking for critique on type made for a band. I have concerns about the idea, the kerning, composition, contrast etc.

Im no pro but...
Look at the R. maybe optically correct the leg joint
Do the middle crossbars all need to be the same height?
good luck
also id consider the letter widths. look at other faces and the concept of negative space
the X needs optical correction too. lower crossbars could do with being raised as well
