Generate Font Files.... from Fontographer help.

Hello,

Me again.

I’ve downloaded a font. Made some heavy modiﬁcations to it, now I want to generate new font ﬁles to install to my system. How do I rename the font? When I try to install it in Windows, it think its an exact duplicate. I want both the original and my mod font on the system.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

When you have the font open in Fontographer, you can change the name by selecting “Font Info…” from the “Element” menu and editing the “Family Name” ﬁeld.

hello
ik have a same kind of problem
when I generate a font, it is always a untiteled document..
I use fontographer 4.1
where can I give the font a name?

The name of the font may be given into “Font Info”

Access this menu from the “Element” menu (in the menu bar at the top of the screen

yes but I cant ﬁnd the font family ﬁeld (in the font info menu)
