not really, the concept is to have capitals only.

Very attractive.
I find it strange that an all-caps face does not have lining numerals.
The tail of the comma needs much more weight than a disappearing hair.

here is an update of lining numerals, comma, some new characters, optimized stems...
i am fighting with kerning classes, some pairs will look strange at the moment...

well, there are alternative characters for B,D,E,F,H,K,L,M,N,P,R,T,U,X,Z.
i did also both, old style numerals and lining, just for fun.
there are standard and discretionary ligatures and there will be more of them.

P.P. Ligatures of this type (when two characters occupy the space of one) can be a bit confusing for the reader.

well, this typeface is meant to be a headline typeface only (although i think it is very legible even if applied as a text body), i am aware it won't be used on airports or museums as a signage. so, i don't have worries that it might be confusing. as i mentioned, you can allways choose which case you going to use, you can turn ligatures on and off any time.

On one side you are right. On the other, why burden the user with the decision of which is better to use?

not sure what you mean by that, for those who would like the typeface for its features, this won't be a burden.
i guess, that is why they would consider to buy the license and use it.

Beautiful! The original caps look very fin de siecle/deco, but the lowercase looks a bit too different - almost Gotham-y. They could definitely be two separate, wonderful typefaces if you ask me. I think your original idea was a great display face.

I second Trevor. Upper-case are unpredictably randomly wide, lower-case are all predictably wide as any proportional font face. There should be two fonts in this family. The unpredictable one and the usual readable face.

One more thing. I think you should finish lower case because it looks promising.

@Alexanderkatt: I think that produced randomness would rarely look good. Hence I agree with @putmeon to make alternatives manually available. Display type is usually tweaked manually to make it outstanding.

I'm not too sure about /R/ and /w/ which I think need more work, but otherwise highly likeable font.

And beside the question mark that I like already there's also /8/ that is so very pleasing. Chinese would like it as well I suppose.

@ litera: can you explain what is, you don't like on /R/, as for the /w/ - yes i can understand you dont like it. i might reconsider that one …

/R/ thing...

1. It needs a bit of counter narrowing (compared to /P/ it looks wider.
2. Tail seems too narrow for the wider top making the whole glyph unstable. I'd widen it a bit.

Since these two things are related maybe one of them will improve the shape of this glyph so don't think you have to change both aspects. Try narrowing counter first then focus on tail.
