Hello everyone – I'm looking for a cut of monotype modern that has a high contrast stroke thickness, for magazine titling. Any suggestions?
I have been looking at interview magazine as a ref BUT I think this is a bespoke cut for interview?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Adobe’s Monotype Modern on MyFonts for example.
Interview uses Nick Shinn’s Scotch Modern family. The high-contrast cut is the display version.
Fabien Baron ditched my Scotch after a couple of issues.
It was perhaps too idiosyncratic in its detailing for him, compared to the typical "clean" finish of display moderns, of which there are many, e.g. Montalbano's "Yo" family.
