What are people's thoughts of Pantone Huey? Does it work?

This sort of thing has been around a while...

I know, but does it work?

Yes I have one and i just used it the other day actually when I bought a new monitor. It calibrates very nicely and effortlessly. I was checking pantone colors to my screen and they were as close as a RGB monitor will produce compared to ink.

Good to know. Thanks. Is it worth upgrading to Pro?

Is it worth buying if you have crap colour vision like me?

Is the difference between Pro and (un)Pro merely software or is there different hardware?

If you want a quick and easy way to get your monitor looking reasonable, than the Huey Pro will work fine.

The (un)Pro is a waste of money.

Not if you only design for yourself.
But if you work in colour for others, good calibration is very important.

(Fun is a boss who insists that the PDF proof of a 60 page catalog is colour calibrated to look right on her crappy laptop screen before we go to print.)

Yes I have the Pro and it is worth buying.

And what about Color munki?
