I don't think this is a font. It's probably hand-lettering (see the differences in the 'l' and 'i' characters).

thanks lex. you are right, could be hand-lettering.
i totally forgot to mention that the photo i got it from was pretty much distorted.
hence i tried to "optimize" it a little that might have altered the characters a bit.
anyway, i am also interested in fonts that have a similar expression – like gillies for example.
