im am doing a project on john Baskerville and his typeface and i would like to know what other designers and people in gerneral think of his work and if it has been influential? is he over rated or under rated?
would typography be the same today without him?

Baskervile was imported to the US by Benjamin Franklin in the 19th century and has been going strong ever since.
I depends on which version one is referring to....I have 17 typefaces called Baskerville.
