Congratulations on an outstanding release!
And thank you for the wonderful extras and numerals :-)

Thanks, riccard0. I will increase the free extras - but, in fact, they are no good than the main font. The "extras" are unfinished letters, without nodes treatment. In future, they will be updated to better shapes, and, ever free.

Intricated ready words in a separate font -- nice idea!

Thanks, Nick. Your comments (I'm your fan) are very welcome. The Penabico Words will be increased in the next weeks. I think to add dozens of words and create a brochure to turn easy the use of the words, with the keys in the Latin 1252 codepage

Make some Norwegian ones as well!

WONDERFUL IDEA, Frode! Can you send to me a small (or largen, whatever) list of important norwegian words (with yours englhish traductions)? I have another projects envolving catch-words, and a list of this kind will be welcome!

Congratulations, Paulo. Besides the quality I already knew, Penabico Words and Penabico Abbreviations are great ideas, very creative. And it's already between the Hot New. Parabéns!

Oh, I forgot about those words. Here are some:

Gratulerer, gratulerer (congratulations)
Kjære, kjære (dear)
Fødselsdag, fødselsdag, Bursdag, bursdag (birthday)
Bryllup, bryllup (wedding)
Invitasjon (invitation)
Mvh, Med vennlig hilsen (sincerly)

@Freiberger, thanks for the kind words.

@Frode, many thanks for the Norwegian words to do. When ready, I will add a topic forum to test and show them. And, in the next update, I will send to your email the font, like a gift. all the best

If you start adding words in different languages, the font could easily become enormous very fast!
Maybe you could offer different fonts for different languages.

@Riccardo, your idea is "piu bella". Can you send me the mostly important italian words, "per favore" ? The idea is growing in my mind, maybe I can release german, italian, norwegian, spanish and french versions along the time. Your italian version will be a gift, off course.

Well, it could develop into something very interesting (and big, what about abbreviations? ;-)!
I will do some research. Do you have some suggestion on how many and what kind of words do you prefer?
Here are some, off the top of my head:
Carissima (Dearest, to a female recipient)
Carissimo (Dearest, to a male recipient)
R.S.V.P. (please respond, very formal, actually French, but used in Italy too)
S.P.M. (Sue Proprie Mani, [to be delivered only to] his/her own hands)
Invito (Invitation)
matrimonio (wedding)

I hope that other Italian-speaking users will chime in with their suggestions.

The Norwegian equivalent of R.S.V.P. is "Svar utbedes".

@Ricardo, thanks for the words - I will appreciate the abbreviations, because the "Abbreviations" font is very small yet. You can send the words of all kind you understand mostly usable in Italian, with special the words usable at invitations, weddings and printed correspondence. The size of the list is in your own taste, because we are very patiences to work like an ant andto do the font. By the way, we like very much this kibnd of work.

@Thanks, again, Frode

@Frode, is hard to do compositions without correct knowledgement of the language. Are these two acceptable?

Bursdag, another norwegian word to test.

Why don’t you rather add these swashed letters as alternates? That M swash is a little over the top, IMO, but I’m not expert on scripts.

I ever do this. After I do this kind of combination, sometimes I get by-products and add to the regular font, like, an example, the "urs" combination letters at "Bursdag", or the 'h' and 'n' in "hilsen". The exagerated "M" was intentional

fødselsdag, norwegian word

Svar utbedes, norwegian expression.

Most of these could be composed with opentype alternates. But then again, many designers don't know how to.

I agree, Frode. To make fonts with ready words can be handy to designers and (principally) amateurs. In fact, at MyFonts, in the last two years, some foundryes has launched this kind of font.

and here, a Portuguese word, Matrimônio.

Great work so far, Paulo!

In case you want to create some in German, too (picking up on Frode’s suggestions):

Gratulation (congratulations)
Liebe / Lieber (dear feminine/masculine)
Geburtstag (birthday)
Hochzeit (wedding)
Einladung (invitation)
MfG, Mit freundlichen Grüßen (sincerely / end of letters)

Urkunde (certificate)
Taufe (baptism)

Thanks, Joerg. Off course I will make one PenabicoWords in German. I like very much your country (and yours beers!). And, very important, I have many german customers, too. Unfortunately, to launch all these works will be take some months yet. But, feel free to send more words, when you have free time to do. all the best
