next clothing typeface ID

I've searched high and low to try and identify this typeface, with no luck at all...

I love the design of the sans-serif in the "next" clothing logo and would love to find the typeface used or a near substitute to use in my art potfolio

here's the logo with lower and (I presume in the same typeface) uppercase:

for the DIRECTORY im seeing akzidenz-grotesk-std the next looks a lot like europa... with the exception of the t... no clue on it.. looks modified to me

yeah that's what I thought,
although they have used the same (lowercase) typeface on their clothing labels, maybe an unreleased font...
