Can anyone suggest what might the longest lettergroups — sequences of connected letters -- in Arabic? I'm looking for test cases and to determine maximum context length for some OpenType lookups.
If anyone has similar information for Persian and Urdu, what would also be appreciated.
I don't know whether this is the longest one or not...

The kind folk on the Persian Computing mailing list came up with some great examples in use in a variety of languages:
Arabic:
ليستخلفنهم (Perhaps the longest such sequence in the Koran. From 24:55.)

Persian (Farsi):
