(x) Does anyone recognize the Skanska Construction typeface? - custom {Jay W}

I'd appreciate any help in tracking down this font or something similar to it. Thanks!

It may have started as Handel Gothic.

The logo or their corporate typeface? The latter looks custom. Here are a few zoomed-in samples:

This thread reminds me of one of my pet peeves about some posts we get.

If there is more than one font used on the linked image, please let us know which wording you are trying to have identified. I can't tell you how many times I have chased down the wrong font, because the request was not specific about which font was in question.

Florian's samples are similar in feel to Delamere by Nicholas Garner.

Hi there,

I work for Skanska and can confirm that it is a custom font. It's a proprietary font we use for our materials.

The logotype isn't so much a font as a graphic. We don't ever use it as a typeface.

I hope this helps. I can try to answer any other questions, though I will warn you I may not have all the answers.

Jay

Thanks Jay for adding that input. It's always helpful to hear from someone who knows, so we can close the book on the question. Do they have a name for the custom font?

Mike - We call it Skanska Sans. Glad to help!
