Beverly Hills City Logo... What's the typeface?

Hello! I'm super new to Typophile:) As such, I am very excited to be here! Can anyone please tell me what typeface is used in the Beverly Hills city logo? Here's an image of it for quick reference. Furthermore, how would you all describe the font?

I'm not sure it’s a typeface — it could be hand-drawn.
Jim Parkinson has designed quite a few typefaces in this “Art Deco Gothic” spirit, see http://www.typedesign.com/squaregothics.html.
