(x) Scripty Sans Italic - Lobster {Jim}

Any idea what this font is? A client wants it on their business card. Not sure if it's an italic component of a sans serif face or just a script on its own.

Lobster?

Sure looks right. Thanks! I've never seen it before. Neat font.

That "'s" looks horrible.

And yes, Lobster is great, and, surprisingly (after all the work Pablo Impallari put into it), is free!

The 's kerning is fixed in the 1.4 release (among other things that people have reported).

Indeed I put a lot of work on it, but since this was my first font, and it was a learning experience, I think that releasing it for free was a good deal.

I get lots of feedback and learned a lot from that feedback. That is priceless.
And, it get a lot of promotion and coverage, thats is priceless too.

So, enjoy the font!
I enjoined a lot on the making and improving process, and meet a lot of people that was king enough for suggesting tips and ways to make it better.

I will love to see what you ended up with.
Can you post an image of the business card?

Thanks
Pablo

The s isn't half bad if you've fixed the kerning. I'm glad to hear you're learning!

Oh, I assumed the kerning was the typesetter's problem, not Lobster's! I used it a couple times just to test it out and didn't see any kerning problems...

Great work though. :)

And when I said "s looks horrible" I was referring to the kerning, not the glyph. I like the "s" haha
