Copyfitting table

Christopher Tim...

After several hours searching the web for an html copyfitting table (a scan can be found on scribd) I have been unsuccessfull and as the quality of the scribd version is poor, my ocr is having a very hard time with it. I would rather not ruin or cut the spine of my autographed copy (pun intended) to get a better scan. Going through it by hand and manually entering the numbers is a solution, but I thought it couldnt hurt to ask the community before I go this route. I'm amazed how hard a time I having.

I need it to be text that I can copy and paste so I can make a spread sheet out of it and incorporate it into some statistical calculations I am doing with my work.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

You can find an abridged version of Bringhurst's table in the LaTeX memoir class documentation

http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/memoir/memman.pdf

(see pages 13-14). The LaTeX source, memman.tex is to be found here:

http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/memoir/doc-src/memman.tex

Just search for "characters per line" in the file and you get the table in LaTeX format.

Michel

The full table can be found here (just the numbers)

Sweet! Thank you very much Michael. I was just about to start manual data entry. I owe you one. Don't hesitate to contact me directly.

De rien! Don't mention it.
