(x) Handwriting - Handy Script {Ray Wrona (self)}

anonymous

I was told the font used for "carried away cuisine & catering" was called Handwriting Regular. But in searching for that name, I cannot find it anywhere. Any ideas?Cucina Logo

Well, the good news is that I can confirm that the font is
called Handwriting. See this MyFonts Forums thread.

I have no idea where to find it, though.

I have this font and the only foundry info I have is "Fontographer". It is indeed called Handwriting. No clue where I got it...

Google is no help whatsoever on this one.

Sorry

I have it on my Mac and just converted it to pc... but don't know where I got it...

You guys are amazing! I am going to try and contact the creator of the logo, in hopes that he has the info...if I find out anything, I will certainly let you know. Thanks for your help!

Aha ... it's a Sam Wang font. He was one of the very
early shareware font makers (like Rakowski).

I wouldn't be surprised if it only exists in Mac format.

Yeah, I remember buying a floppy disk from him with some of his fonts in the early 90's. His fonts were mostly shareware, and if you registered by sending the fee, he sent you a disk with more fonts on it.

I found it! One of my fellow iStockphoto.com members found it, actually. It is called Handy Script and is available at graphxedge.com
Thank you for the help, and I am sure I will be back!
