(x) Futura (T1) confusion - format: PostScript Type 1 {Jan, Riccardo}

Ian

Hi,

I have obtained a file from a client which on opening in indesign says "Fonts missing: Futura (T1) in varying weights and faces...

I have Futura installed on my PC, but I am now searching for this (T1) version. Is this version from a particullary foundry?

Help?! Please!?

Thanks,
Ian

T1 stands for Postscript Type 1.
So, that’s what you need.

Or you could try to replace it with your version, but then you'll need to make sure that it's the same cut of Futura* and that it doesn't reflow.
