"BE" in Akzidenz Grotesk BE and other unknown acronyms

What does "BE" stand for in Akzidenz Grotesk BE, and what's the difference between BE and BQ in the AG Collection?

Thanks.

"BE" is "Berthold Exklusivs", "BQ" is "Berthold Quality". I think the former were those typefaces once included in Adobe's Font Folio.
