MAVALA SWITZERLAND Clarendon-like logo typeface - probably custom

garybristow

Hi,

I would be very grateful for some help in identifying this typeface.

Thanks in advance,

Gary

They should've h-flipped the "V".

Some tweaks needed (in the "M" too).

I might even try h-flipping the last "A" as well (although
the other two being there might make that too glaring).

Isn't this an ID request?

Yeah. Shoot me for trying to make it useful.

There's no shooting involved :)

Oh wow… that logo seems to be by far the prettiest thing they have. On their website they use Arial with fake small caps on an apricot gradient. I'm outta here.

TS Penthouse Bold will get you close [sorry I can't insert links currently]. The bottom right terminal on the L makes me think this might be custom — it looks as thought weight has been taken off to allow the foot of A to take that space.

Hrant – They should've h-flipped the "V".

Why? It doesn't need flipping; the 2nd example is plain wrong.

It's only wrong if you look wrong.

hhp

Of course, I'll endeavour to look right in future :^o

Note that the opposite of Wrong isn't always Right. :-)
