Interesting typeface. The closest I was able to find was Ela Demiserif Light. It's not an exact match but a lot of the feeling is the same.

Given the similarities with Imperial and all the awkwardness (IMHO) of those half-serifs I still believe someone down in China meddled with Imperial.

The unknown serif is quite different from Imperial. I'd like to think it's a not-so-good hybrid of Imperial and Ela Demi Serif.

Actually this is a free font called Philosopher.
