(x) galt house - Bell Gothic Black, Bickham Script {Nick, Seb}

signs79

I need help finding the typeface in the brochure. I know the bottom faces are Adobe Garamond. The script looks like Bickham, but it is not. The "best of louisville" I have seen in Qudoba ads, but I am not sure what it is. The "stay in the heart of it" looks Trade gothic.

Thanks!

Louisville is Bell Gothic Black

Nick Cooke

Bell Gothic Black = BEST OF LOUISVILLE.

Ha! eat my dust sucker! :^)

Nick Cooke

Script is definitely Bickham Script Pro with the 'th' ligature

Damn you Nick Cooke! :)

Thanks all!!!

"STAY IN THE HEART OF IT" is close to the 300mg width of Pill Gothic, if you want that one too.

[Nick & Seb, don't you believe in adding links? Or is that just for speed?]

- Mike Yanega

I withdraw Pill Gothic. The counters are too squared.

- Mike Yanega

I think I was right about Trade Gothic being the secondary type.

Ooops! My bad. I didn't read all the way to the end. Trade Gothic Condensed does look right.

- Mike Yanega

The "p" and "th" appear to be custom-- there are no ligatures that match them.

Yeah Mike, just for speed. I'm stacked out at the mo.

Below Bickham Script sheared 10 degrees:

To Mike, excuse my previous laziness...

Seb and Nick, I guess I came across as nagging, when I meant it to be a nudge. I'm sorry for that. I should have added the winking emoticon, if I said anything at all.

- Mike Yanega

You are not nagging Mike. Keep those boys straight :-)

I wasn't offended – I'm demob happy, off to South Africa tomorrow. Hooray! No more work for 3 weeks, no more Typophile either, I'm not one of those idiots who sit kerning by the pool or checking emails on my laptop.

Merry Christmas everybody!

Nick Cooke

Nick, I hope you're not flying British Airways, or you may not get back!

Safe trip Nick... but at least take a pen or three :-)

Michael

And a camera of course, that goes without saying really :-P
