Bravo, my friend!!!
Well slabbed! May it set Sale and prosper :-)

ChrisL

I still feel a bit slabby :) Thanks a lot, Chris!

Niiiice, I might have to give myself an early Christmas present.
Is Museo Serif on the way, too (or am I being too greedy)?

ChrisL

Chris! You just wait till your next release! (thx!)

@ mili — No serif for Museo. Maybe a condensed Sans and maybe also a rounded sans.

Maybe a condensed Sans and maybe also a rounded sans
Ooh, either or both of those would be great!

Congrats Mr. Buivenga. Well done! I love the a.

André

Craig, your votes are noted :)

Thanks, André!

If it counts, my vote is for a condensed! :-)

Excellent! Despite all the differences, it still looks immediately like Museo.

Peace,
JT

I'm pleased to say that the Museo Slab fonts are now online and available for download at AscenderFonts.com: http://www.ascenderfonts.com/font/museo-slab-family-1.aspx

Very nice, and priced very generously too.

Thanks, Chris.

Bill, I've updated this post.

Late to the party. This really looks great Jos. A 'happy' slab, which is unusual. It should be competition for Archer, which seems to be everywhere. (I love it as well.)

This was needed I dare say. Solid work Jos :)

Thanks a lot for the kind words, William & Nina!

Archer is too small on the body to be really friendly.

Sounds like time for Tiffany to chime in * ;)

-double comment-

Just put it on my Christmas wish list. I need a bold to go with my free 500 weight!

Jos, indeed: Tiffany, right here* right now girl! ;-)

* I mean Typophile, not this thread!

I'm lovin' it. I'll probably use it a lot, maybe not as much as the sans or Delicious, but it looks like it has a lot of utility. Well done!

Hrant, I guess it was not that visible that my * was linked :P

Thanks, Christopher.

Oh, sorry.
But: Aha! Remember what I recently opined about the asterisk? :-)

hhp

Well... topsy turvy... t's like things 'r comin' together'ere ;)

Speaking of Delicious, I remember a while back I read on your blog that you were playing around with revising/updating it. Still planning to do that?

I do have still plans for that, but I've abandoned any time scheme.

Well definitely keep us posted whenever you get around to it :-)

great! bautiful font

I will, Chistopher.

Thanks, Marco!

Came in too late ... Another good work! Thanks a lot! And pleeeeezzzz: NO Rounded! But condensed!

Thank *you* (and noted).

I see that Museo Slab is already up to number 5 on the "Hot New Fonts" list!

Way to go, Jos!

ChrisL

Thank(s to) you, Chris! It's way cool that it's recieved so well. I'm very happy.

Museo Slab moves on up to #4.

ChrisL

Font spotting on a Christmas day? ;)

Does that ranking factor out the freebies?
If not, is there a way to tell what proportion was paid?

hhp

Free downloads do not affect the rankings at MyFonts, only sales.

MyFonts "Hot New Fonts" #2 reached by Museo Slab to end the year!

ChrisL

A nice start for 2010 :) Happy New Year, Chris!

NUMBER 1, YES!!!

ChrisL

:) And #8 in best selllers. Feels great!

Chris, you put Casey Kasem to shame!

Wow, he's unstoppable and on fire! :-D
Congrats Jos.

Craig,
I am more in the era of Wolfman Jack and Porky Chadwick :-)

ChrisL

Thanks, Nina.

Chris, or maybe Esco Gido? ;)

Jos, you seem to have an impeccable knack for drawing fonts that people immediately love. Any tips!?

*Edit* Sorry, forgot to mention, Museo Slab is lovely! :)

No tips I'm affraid, Ben. I'm only doing what I like and what I think is interesting to work on. I'm often surprised that so many people appreciate my fonts.

(Thanks! :)

I am more in the era of Wolfman Jack

Ah yes, Poor Wolfman Jack had quite a big, crazy voice in the sixties.

:-)

ChrisL

Yes! Rising Star Status Again! ;-P
